TOMORROWS WORLD | DONCASTER

Event Name: Tomorrow’s World

Genre: Hard trance, Hard techno, Hardstyle, Gabber & Uptempo

Venue: The Doncaster Warehouse

Location: 27 North Bridge Rd, Doncaster DN5 9AD

Date: 22.11.2025

Time: 8pm - 4am

Doncaster & Tomorrow’s world make some Fxxkin Noiiiise!!

The Doncaster warehouse, WOW!! We held back on doing a venue review here whilst at “The Rave Escape” due to the second indoor room being open and having access to the VIP area with Tomorrow’s World. My word did the wait pay off!! The venue as a whole for its 500-person capacity, location and following regardless of brand playing at the venue is absolutely class!!

From the outside of what can only be described as a derelict warehouse and waiting in line in those cold winter’s months. what’s beyond those walls is the unimaginable! Behind the entrance doors await 4 fair but thorough security, so make sure you wear suitable clothing in those winter months. You could be waiting 15-20mins to get into the venue, as queues for the place build up fast on the bigger event nights. Make sure to take this into consideration when planning to attend!

Now you’ve made it passed the sleeping police men, ticket scanned and you’ve hung your mates jacket up. It’s time to divulge into what The Doncaster warehouse has to offer! To the right the toilets and cloakroom, this isn’t too big so if you drive try to leave it in the car where possible. To the left, blink and you’ll miss it! The door to the upstairs second room. We’ll come back to that as on this occasion the upstairs room wasn’t open for the first hour. The first of 2 bars in the venue is located in the left corner and the second bar to the left of the main stage with the beer of all rave beers, the red stripe priced at only £4.50, double and mixers around £7 and those on the water £2.50. Come away from the first bar and next to the first of a 2 indoor chill out areas, is a great outdoor space with an awesome artwork in memory of J.D Walker painted on the wall. During the warmer months the area is in fact used as an outdoor arena, giving the venue the capability to have 3 productions and line ups.

Now Let’s not forget we were here for the Tomorrow’s world – Warp storm event. One of, if not thee leading club night that caters just for the harder heads! Covering all genres from hard trance, techno, gabber, Uptempo and beyond this event is not for the feint hearted and goes HARD from the get go!! So back into the venue we go, a second longer seating area can be found in-between the smoking area and the second bar on the left. Across from the second bar and seating area are 2 entrances to the main dance floor. With 2 huge screens for visuals and a gargoyle both either side of the DJ booth it really adds to the dark gritty feel of a filthy night ahead! To the back of the dancefloor is a small stage which also sits Infront of the lighting control room meaning this venue has absolutely everything to put on your own branded night or private party.

Opening the show downstairs was none other than the uk’s hardest couple from the south of Wales, SiKo. Known for their fast paced, high-energy sets varying from Hard Techno, Hardcore, Millennium hardcore, Industrial, Old school & Uptempo if you’re told to go watch their set... Make sure you do, you won’t regret it! Playing some disgusting Hard Techno and Industrial we weren’t sure if we had the energy to continue the night! How ever on mic duties was none other than the man himself Mc Twist. Having worked for many different labels within the hardcore scene this man knew how to host get those early ravers going. This man seriously doesn’t get enough credit or bookings imho. Keep an eye for both of these as SiKo is going to the top without a shadow of a doubt and Mc twist is a true gent!

After a chat in the smoking area with E.S.P and discussing how the sounds have changed over the years and that he prefers to stick to the older sound we went back in to see what he was all about. Again, bearing in mind, we have no clue who “some of” these artists were due to not being able to dig the harder styles in our earlier raving years! This man did not disappoint with his 93-95 bouncy techno sounds; We were absolutely buzzing!! Not as hard as SiKo but equally as talented, so it gave us some much-needed room to breathe after hard nights rave the evening before.

Taking over from E.S.P and Destruction needing no introduction was the man himself the absolute legend DJ Scorpio! With his fast, intense, high-energy style with heavy kicks, breakbeats, and raw rave sounds there was limbs flying all over the shop from the ravers. An hour of pure hard rave nostalgia. Just before the end of Scorpios’ set we chose to take a look around the second room and the upstairs, the reason behind us not giving a full in-depth review at “The Rave Escape.”

Wow for those who’ve never been in the second room or into the VIP area, imho the layout and size of the room for the second room is better. Big open planned long dancefloor where the parties at the back! We walked through the second room and through the doors, what’s beyond those doors will blow your mind. Imagine stomping away downstairs on the dancefloor and you look up to see no ceiling, you’re probably thinking what are they on about. Well next time you’re at the Doncaster warehouse look up!! There’s a wraparound balcony where we stood to watch the end of Scorpio’s set and watched Frikshon welcome Fergus to the decks to play classics set.

Unfortunately, we didn’t hang about too long as we came upstairs to see Kev Gee and Mike Woolley. When we walked back into this room it was busy however within minutes the room was rammed, The party was in the back room!! Personally, for me this was the set of the night, considering we sadly missed the last 2hours of the evening these lads really carried the energy with J.O.E unexpectedly on mic duties. He sees no option but to add fuel to the first that was already burning, if this set is released you need to hear it!! Scorpio standing by watching pretty much the whole set showed that even the legends are inspired by what the new breed are doing. Mike Woolley is the Gammer of the harder styles, this lad will throw anything into the mix and have you stomping Ya socks off! With shouts from J.O.E that the parties in the back room all 3 of these lads deserve a round of an applause!

Taking over from the lads was Siko again this time with an Uptempo set which a short clip can be found previously posted on the page. Having never really dug too deep into Uptempo and us attending BKJN at the end of January we chose to head back downstairs so that we could experience Uptempo fully in the Netherlands.

Walking through the door back into the main room to hear DJ Predator play a 30years of predator set with hard hitting bass lines and sophisticated drum patterns, we knew our limbs were about to go flying again again. We went on a journey through time that left us wanting more but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to leave and attend to a family matter.

Overall, the atmosphere of the night was absolutely amazing, our legs were aching for weeks after and it’s safe to say we absolutely love the harder sounds! Throughout the night we heard nothing but positive feedback about the event. Multiple ravers, Mc’s and DJs came up saying what an amazing movement we are creating which is always lovely to hear as we do this for the ravers. We will be in attendance at the next event and will give a full event review.

CORE CONNECTION Tŷ HAFAN CHILDERENS HOSPICE | NEWPORT

Event Name: Core Connection Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice Charity Stream + VIP Rave

Genre: Uk Hardcore, Makina, Powerstomp

Venue: Fire & Ice

Location: 7 Cambrian Rd, Newport NP20 4AD

Date: 14/11/25

Time: 6pm-3am

The City of Newport in South Wales is no stranger to rave music, with events dating back to the late 1980’s. Deep within the cities historical walls Fire and Ice can be found, Newport’s state of the art hybrid night club formerly known as Vibez Superclub and Breeze. Although not connected to the original venue, the new owners in 2024 chose to use the name to pay homage to the once iconic venue only a few hundred yards away.

The venue consists of 4 themed rooms with a huge light up dancefloor in the main room and pillars made to look like ice, this venue really stands out in Newport! With seating area as well as various arcade machines downstairs this venue really has something for everyone. Especially with the main room being fully wheelchair accessible. Take a walk up the stairs to the rear of the venue and you’re welcomed by a cool arcade games room with bar. To the other side the venues other reasonably sized tiki themed room, consisting of a bar its own light and laser system and everything needed bar your desired decks. The prices of alcohol we have to admit have been the cheapest we’ve seen at a rave in a long time with cans of beer being less than £5.

Holding their first successful VIP Rave at Fire & Ice was Core Connection, a group of top blokes who come together for the love music and to a create a brand that would be recognised by the thousands!! The team consists of Mc Shutts the legendary Mc who once played on the biggest stages of the UK Hardcore scene. He recently returned to uk hardcore after a few years break, in such a short space of time Chris has made a huge impact!! @LeeTV known for his live streams on TikTok and the man who knows his way around the socials. @Jughead the man behind such an awesome new track “Light in the Darkness” with Rob IYF yet to be released, unfortunately at the time of writing this we are unsure of where or when it will be released. So, keep an eye out for that 1, it’s an absolute Anthem!

This Event wasn’t just another event, the team at core connection come together with all their individual expertise to raise money for the amazing charity Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice. Live streamed on TikTok to their ever-growing community and being a closed event to their supporters, core connection managed to raise in excess of £1000. With donations coming from gifts on TikTok, event t-shirts, Kandi sales, customised mugs and their latest addition usb’s from the night.

Opening the show was their very own Sophonix b2b Dorn with the legend Mc Shutts. Sophie has come on leaps and bounds in the short time she has been mixing, so to see her mix out to a crowd was really good to see her nerves go away in that moment and own it!

Another firm favourite with the ravers was Son-D, she may have got her words wrong but her energy and desire to get up on the stage and rock the mic is infectious! You can catch her at soldiers of the rave down in Westbury on the 25th April 2026 at venom nightclub.

Although there was so many amazing sets on the night for us not seeing 3man and Shutts b2b before, it was a pairing that blew our minds! 2 top blokes that have so much history and energy between them, that even without a Gary these 2 lads will have you pouring with sweat by the end!

Make sure to keep and eye on the Core Connection socials for further details on their next event, for now here’s an exclusive:

THE RAVE ESCAPE | DONCASTER

Event Name: The Rave Escape

Genre: Hard Rave

Venue: The Doncaster Warehouse

Location: 27 N Bridge Rd, Doncaster DN5 9AD

Date: 8.11.2025

Time: 8-4am

The Rave Escape Doncaster!! Wow, what an event and Brand!

The Rave Escape first started their journey in Mansfield in 2022 with each following event going from strength to strength. The promoter of this brand puts the ravers first every time and this can be seen in the line ups, ticket cost and atmosphere on the night!

Focusing on all areas of Hard Rave the latest line up had mixed reviews from different ravers. We personally for multiple reasons thought it was an amazing night and a write up from the promoter about the artists is attached. This year there was more space on the dancefloor, apart from during Darren Styles & MC Whizzkid set which was awesome. Nobody likes to be bashing elbows all rave, that was an added bonus this year! We enjoyed that there was a variety of styles however, we heard from a few ravers the felt it was more of a clubland vibe bar Darren styles & Whizzkid and Slinky's sets. However overall, by the look on peoples faces and the amount of glow sticks in the air it was a top-class night!!

We are close supporters of slinky although all the other artists were amazing and we were really impressed with Olly James set and Enemy and Leanne Deckhead closing with the cheesiest of hard bangers. Slinky opened the show in style and within half an hour the dancefloor was virtually full and chanting! All her nerves gone away in that moment! Make sure you keep an eye on this amazing woman she’s got what it takes to keep up with the best with the humblest attitudes.

We’ll be back with The Rave Escape next year!! Make sure to check the page in 2 weeks for tomorrows world where we will do a full venue and event review.

SANCTUARY FOREVER THE RETURN TO V7 | MILTON KEYNES

Event Name: Sanctuary Forever The Return to V7 Saxon Street

Genre: Oldskool, Jungle, DNB, Techno, Breakbeat and Hardcore

Venue: Arena MK

Location: Arena MK, V7 Saxon Street, Milton Keynes, MK1 1SA

Date: 01/11/2025

Time: 14:00 - 01:00

VENUE

The Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes is only a short stone’s throw away from the iconic building that was once known as The Sanctuary. On our way into the venue, we found the security to be fairly relaxed, there was a sniffer dog but later on some ravers told us they believe he was tired. The main room can hold 5k ravers although there are various other smaller rooms within the complex. Through conversation with various ravers on the night we were led to believe, the main room sound levels had majorly improved on the previously year. Stage area was perfect huge visual screens Lasers and separate VIP standing areas.

LINE UP

The Line up was stacked over 3 rooms with the likes of Ramos and Supreme with Marley, Sharkey & Kevin Energy with odyssey, Brockie & Nicky Blackmarket, Vibes & Live Lee, Hixxy & Whizzkid, The Force and Styles experience with Charlie B and Jenna just to name a few across the 3 rooms. Main room for us Ramos and supreme with Marley were amazing, the vibe from the crowd was phenomenal. However, Hixxy and whizzkid for us was the set of the main room. With an amazing sing along set of some absolute classics, it was impossible to top that crowd reaction!! With there being such a variety this year in the main room, we spent a lot of time in the Technodrome. Mark EG what a legend this guy is a truly top-class guy and for us stole the show in the Technodrome without a doubt!!

FACILITIES

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible across all floors of the arena and from view plenty of space for users closer to the stage. If we do have any readers who attended and use a wheelchair let us know your experiences In the comments, were there any restrictions? Drinks were expected to be on the higher end water and redbull priced at £5 and pints on the draught priced at £7.95. An added addition to this years event was 2 Fairground Rides which we had the pleasure of experiencing and nearly throwing up, Great fun!

ATMOSPHERE

The whole day and night was phenomenal, you had Mark EG in the Technodrome playing waving a mop around, as everyone is sliding all over the floor. Then in the main room he tries to throw a mop bucket into the crowd. This man is an entertainer one of a kind. We didn’t hear any negative feedback only that the Technodrome could have been a little bit louder for those standing beyond the bar. With next year's being the final of the series we believe you should absolutely get to the final event and expect it to be a sell out.

RAVEYARD | Peterborough

RaveYard Bijou – Give back event.

Genre: Hard Dance

Venue: Bijou Cocktail Bar, Peterborough

Date: 24/10/2025

Time: 8-1am

RaveYard needs no introduction, this brand is doing things the right way and the proofs in the pudding. For anyone who isn’t familiar with Raveyard we covered their biggest event to date only a few weeks ago and can be found further down the page.

Bijou Cocktail Bar on the other hand is a small high-end cocktail bar located in the heart of Peterborough City Centre and a short walk from transport links and various hotels. Bijou stands out from the crowd for small venues. Why? Because it caters for those looking for a more relaxed social drink or take a walk through to the back and the moment you get to the stairs you feel the bass from the underground rave cave. This isn’t its only purpose and can also be hired for many other events with its own bar. Drinks are actually reasonably priced for its high-end look.

They advised that the rave cave caters for 50 people, however we think that it’s a comfortable 50 with a nice space to dance. Walking down the stairs and into what can only be described as an exposed brickwork tunnel with lasers and neon’s, you instantly get the feel of an oldskool underground rave with a modern touch. At the back of the end of the cave you’ll find the DJ booth and small stage area, which has had Acoustic sound proofing panels fitted as the space also caters for band practice and recording.

All round the RaveYard team and DJ’s put on a blinding night and hopefully will be back there again in the future as the ravers including the walk ins thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep an eye on the raveyard page as they have another free event still to come.

TRANCE CENTRAL | PETERBO

Trance Central Peterborough Launch Night

Genre: Trance

Venue: Velvet Panache Peterborough Nightlife Venue

Trance central is a new event run by 2 friends who came together for the love of music. On Saturday night they held their launch party at the outstanding velvet panache in Peterborough. Its like royalty every time you step inside the venue.

Opening the show was Wilcos with hard trance, a raver at heart who found a love for mixing only recently after having a go with Karl one of the promoters. Being a local Wilcos fits in with the promoters’ vision to use local talent along with some amazing headliners. What a night it turned out to be!

Up next was Richter started with some euphoric trance, rich is one of the promoters who recently just came back from doing a set in Ibiza. Another raver at heart who has an absolute passion for any kind of music. With his cheeky character and presence, he’s an artist that will definitely have your ravers telling you how much they enjoyed his set.

David Hill b2b Dave Thomas 2 absolute amazing blokes with a bromance that’s explosive and shines across the dancefloor. These 2 artists have played at many big events over the years and recently played at cyber dog in London.

Handing over the decks to missy Bebbo was a moment to treasure for the lads. I wasn’t sure what to expect due to not following the trance scene but missy Bebbo played some amazing hard trance and psy really enjoyed the set. Really opening my eyes to the different genres that exist close to hardcore.

Although Amber D played an amazing set as expected and what a talented lady she is. The funniest moments of the event were 1 of the ravers who had never been dance around with the alien at the front and the moment we played a trick on the DJ Savage giving him 2 shots of water mid set.

Keep an eye on this brand they are definitely going to grow in the local area with line ups getting better every time. holding the fort down all night was the other promoter and slinky you and Karl deserve all the praise you get that was something special.

HARD AS YA LIKE With MIND BLOWN | LEICESTER

Genre: UK Hardcore, Makina, Power Stomp, Hardstyle, Gabber, Frenchcore, Uptempo and Industrial.

Venue: 2 Funky Music Café

Date/Time: 10/10/2025 7pm-4am

Oh wow how was Friday? You didn’t go, make sure you keep those eyes peeled because next year is going to be even bigger and better!

I feel this review needs something clearing up first out of the promoters’ hands, they were due to have a bigger main room downstairs (see video in the comments). Due to a double booking from the venue the lads chose to pick another room and boy did it pay off, as from start to finish of the night we had the whole place rocking!! The mainstage area which would have been, consisted of a balcony area for VIP’s and a bigger dancefloor and staging area. Keep your eyes peeled for the summer of 2026 as this space Is going to be used. Overall, the venue consists of 5 unique arenas and 3 courtyards all with the facility to have its own system and production.

At the Start of the night we was helping out on the door handing out whistles and Kandi bracelets we’d made, if you managed to get one drop us a pic below. We honestly can’t thank you all enough though for the response these got on the dancefloor. It was like going back in time, the vibe was that good I can still hear the whistles ringing now.

With all the Kandi handed out I went for a walk around as all you could hear from the reception was FarmYard Rebelz throwing those microwaves at Ya and the feeling that the rave had begun. I needed to go see the turn out as being on the door seeing all your mates arrive you don’t realise how many people pass. For someone 18months ago who hated anything past 170bpm to hear such kicks out of a big system let me tell Ya, it really opens your eyes to the sound. Some amazing productions you’ve been working on lads, I was also pleasantly surprised when see Rebel behind the decks instead of hosting. Don’t stick to Ya day job lad! Ravers need to start arriving early for these early sets they are as good as your main sets of the night!

Off into the UK Hardcore room we went see who was playing and then for a quick smoke. Omg what a lad this guy is TechDeck is a young aspiring DJ with bags of talent, it’s no wonder that he’s been made a resident. Back into the main hard room I went as I really wanted to dive deeper into those harder sounds, as the page is to cover all things hard rave and S.O.D was about to start. This is another DJ who is absolutely smashing it right now in hardstyle. Check out his promo mix on SoundCloud for an idea of how his set went down if you wasn’t able to attend.

Mark Slamma Gee set with Matthew McJack Gough was another level, you could of heard the whistles from Leicester train station everyone was enjoying themselves that much! The crowd going wild for Slamma’s remix of “The glen” and his original with Ronnie C Higher love.

Have to say across the board it was a really good night, DJ Kurt - Lethal Theory played naughty set with MC Wotsee with a lot of different tracks which is good for the rave scene we like new material. Klubfiller even played a blinding set with mc steal with some new stuff and not all the same bits he previously has. For those who ask about drinks prices they were reasonable £4.50/5 for a beer. If you couldn’t make it down to summarise the whole night, it was packed in both rooms. With the promoters plans for the future, it looks like it will continue that way!

If there was an event on that night that was out to make a statement that they was here to stay and with more action packed line ups, it was Hard As Ya Like and Mind Blown Leicester!!

THE WAREHOUSE | LEEDS

The warehouse, Leeds Event/Venue Review

Second Speed

Hard Techno

The Warehouse live music venue, is based a short 10 minute walk from the city centre and train station. Set within an old industrial warehouse you really get that gritty underground feeling. In 2021 the venue had its latest renovation and all new sound system. The venue now focuses on techno and house nights along with other live acts, now if your a local or travelling raver this seriously is the place to go and check out. However be advised when attending, we'd advise to arrive early queues for events here pour into the adjacent street, as we found out. the venue consists of 3 rooms, 1 main room and 2 smaller rooms.

Walking into the warehouse you have no clue your about to have your mind blown away. walking straight into a rush pit and 360' stage your eyes and breathe are taken away, strobes flashing square lights hanging from the ceiling, structural pillars where people are hanging off and giving the beans. This venue is really something special. Drinks were reasonable £5 a beer and same for water. only downside, they had a second bar the length of the dancefloor but it was closed off. Considering it holds 700 people in the main room you never waited more than couple minutes to be served. this maybe due to renovation, we unfortunately didn't ask.

Second Speed is a Hard Techno brand that originated in Newcastle and quickly grew to holding events internationally, including Ibiza. The videos attached show what an amazing venue and atmosphere this place brings.

On the night having known none of the names on the line up we didn't know what to expect. The Venue and atmosphere was amazing from the off and we were screaming with joy, however there were 2 names who absolutely blew the roof off for us. Basswell and Toxic Machinery the heaviest of kicks and the bass screaming through the speakers it was surreal. The crowd when toxic machinery dropped barbie girl went absolutely insane, see the videos below! The thing I find also is some of these Hard Techno events you find hardstyle and Uptempo mixed in which is brilliant.

Overall a very good venue and will be going back in the future to see if the other rooms are open.

let us know your thoughts in the comments, have you been to the warehouse in Leeds?

DNA HARDCORE 13TH BIRTHDAY | Leicester

DNA Hardcore 13th birthday, Eden venue

What can I say absolute eventful night.

Everyone that I see smashed their set, Gary Summers did his best and left us with no music for a short period (mistakes happen) when his USBs wouldn't load, but we still gave him a top vibe during his set with Mc carrickta and MC Myth

If I had to say there was a stand out set of the night downstairs it had to be Yannis Gorak & MC Thunda Josh Priestley give yourself some Danm credit!! That set was top tier

Culley Paul & Mark Slamma Gee with Carrick McCarrickta Hussey Myth Smith MC Foxy smashed it with a big vocals set and had the crowd singing at every opportunity Higher love is one my absolute fav tracks, so was glad to hear you blast that one out!!

Kaylene Scar & Toni Leanne Buck with Joe Fox smashed out a hardcore makina set. Fair few tracks I'd never heard that Kaylene played for us which really added to the evenings vibe!! Then Mizz T As many know Im not really a makina fan unless it has breakdowns and vocals. Well safe to say I really enjoyed that set, even if I was recording most of the set.

Ronnie Carter & Matthew Clover with Mc Cozmic smashed a Fracus and Darwin set and wow did they impress me. When DJ Clover dropped a belter of a tune which I thought was a Joey riot da tweekaz track however the beat was so different

The horn had a right good blasting and certainly impressed a few people

AKEDO GAMING BAR | LINCOLN

The Akedo bar is an absolute little gem of a venue, Located in the city centre of Lincoln not far from local transport links. As you walk through the streets of such a beautiful city full of history you wouldn’t believe such a place exists.

Walking into the venue you instantly feel the quirkiness and effort gone into the venue it is. Wall to wall decked to the nines in gaming memorabilia even staff are dressed to fit the retro theme and character. Beers and shots are very reasonably priced so no need for deep pockets. Now you’ve walked into the venue and had a look around upstairs and think where’s the dancefloor and the rave at as you want to throw some shapes. Located at the end of the bar are your toilets and a short flight of stairs.

Walking down the stairs to the basement you begin to feel the underground vibe this place has. Get to the bottom and you can go either left or right. Let’s go right to the rave cave and leave the juicy bits till last. The dancefloor holds around just over 100 people, supply your own sound system and away you go. When we went, they actually had a rave on with the Tik-Tek Crew, powered by ITHAX’s incredible sound system. We will provide you with a review later this week as these are definitely a brand that’s growing rapidly and it’s understandable why.

Now if we come out of the rave cave and cross over into the other room. The retro gaming theme continues to scream at you. If you’re there to game or there in the evening for a music event this basement is for everyone. With 4/5 gaming booths with a table and games such as crash bandicoot, Spyro the dragon amongst 100’s of others this really is the chill out zone of chill out zones. A massive original style Gameboy hangs from the wall, a cabinet full of all retro consoles and games galore. For a small venue this place really packs a punch.

TIK-TEK | Lincoln

Event Name: Tik-Tech, The Vendetta

Genre: Techno, Hard Techno & Hardstyle

Venue: Cubes Nightclub

Location: 1 West Parade, Lincoln LN1 1NL

Date: 21.11.25

Time: 10 - 3:30am

Lincoln strikes again! We were previously here for another Tik-Tech event at the Akedo gaming Bar, which turned out to be a cracking little rave cave with a gaming theme twist attached. The review can be found pinned at the top. Whilst we were there Mark the promoter of Tik-Tech told us about his next event at Sugarcubes few doors away. Having shown us such great hospitality and becoming big supporters of the page, it was only right we attended. They have a loyal group of ravers which has definitely grown since the last event, which is always a positive sign!

Sugarcubes also known as cubes on the socials has a long history of holding events dating back to 1975. They are definitely not the biggest of clubs in Lincoln, however catering for up to 300 ravers it only takes about 100 people to make the dancefloor look busy! As you walk into the building you have a relatively decent cloakroom space and then the seating area, which strangely sits behind the stage. As you walk further round you then come to the bar which for a can of red stripe is only £4.50, perfect price! Great little extra is this seating area at the back of the club, which you can see the mainstage perfectly from. The venue is painted all in black with a various purple and red neon’s placed around with screens so you can add your event logo, which gives it that added touch of class! The Ithax’s sound system which was previously used at Akedo bar surprisingly sounded amazing in there, considering it had the whole building shaking at the previously venue. Only a short 15-minute walk through Lincoln’s city centre is the train station. Close by to the venue are some very reasonably priced hotels with ample NCP Parking. So, for all you travelling ravers there’s everything you need to make it an enjoyable weekend!

With their strongest line up to date, needing no introduction this woman has been our biggest supporter from the beginning. Carly aka Akaya, has only been mixing for a year and always requests to go on first so she can get in with the crowd and go feral like the rest of us! Her set seriously set the pace for what turned out to be a really enjoyable night! With her heavy basslines and hammers being thrown at Ya left right and centre, akaya certainly made sure Lincoln knew who was in town! Akaya has absolutely earnt her stripes and is moving away from opening sets in future to a crowd which will boost her confidence and mixing ability 10-fold. 1 name we believe you need to make sure you get the chance to go and see, if you haven’t already!!

Taking over Akaya was no other than, Jaimy-J the Welsh based Trance DJ, Co-Owner of Jinko Chino and promoter of the Welsh Brand Breathe. Jaimy is currently an active DJ in the Hard dance, Hard House and Trance scenes. Considering techno isn’t her go to genre she done a fantastic job for her northern friends with some catchy bouncy techno sounds and driving basslines. Taking over from Jaimy was her Welsh partner in crime behind the decks, DJ Chuck-E an absolute mastermind when it comes to Hard techno and Schranz. WOW!! An hour just wasn’t enough; we didn’t want it to end!

Taking over from Chuck-e and preparing to handover to the legend mark EG was the man himself, the main face behind Tik-Tech Themkone. The first time we see mark we was at the bar most of the night on the peanut butter shots. Safe to say this time we witnessed this guy drop the dirtiest, hardest set of the night!

Mark EG the absolute legend took over from Themkone, For anyone who witnessed his set at Westfest it was very similar to that. In his own words “A new style of hard trance, acid, hard techno and similar. I pitched up some amazing 130–140 BPM tracks to 160 BPM and I am trying to make them work in hyper speed, while mastering the bottom end and thinking about that all important first octave etc. I call it hyper-tech!” Taken directly from his post the next day, this sums up what an amazing set it was. Which can also be witnessed in our shorts!

Taking over from the legend and the final set of the night we managed to watch due to a long day ahead the next day at Tomorrow’s world was Woolley! This lad seriously is the Gammer of harder sounds!! We kid you not this guy’s mixing ability and his variety in track selection is phenomenal, 2 sets over 2 nights and both clubs were rammed to the rafters to see this guy play out!! Wait till you read our tomorrow’s world review this guy is the real deal!

Be sure to keep and eye on Tik-Tech’s socials for further info on their future events.
